new brakes for the car! the front disc rotors have been vibrating for some time due to warping, and resurfacing them doesn't help since they warp again in a few months (i've had it done twice already, $100 each time!), so i replaced them with cross-drilled rotors from www.stillen.com. easy enough to do yourself, and only costs about $250.00 for rotors and pads, including shipping. i should be getting commission from them... ;-)
